The band “Colin and the Clouds”, based in Sweden, brings sunshine to our ears. They released one of the biggest positive surprises in March, somewhere between powerful synth indie rock and electronic.

Whereas the verse of “Last Time” is guitar-driven, the chorus hits with powerful drums, bass, vocals and strong hooks. So we have to say, beware: here are COLIN AND THE CLOUDS, beware: not for the LAST TIME.

#DanceNOW! Double Triangle, Carlos Ucedda - "I adore you (Double Triangle Remix)"

If the song sounds familiar to you now, we have already presented Carlos Ucedda and ‘I adore you’ once before; back then, the song was still very 80s (greetings to Luke Tangerine at this point). Together with Double Triangle, they take a step further into the 90s. You could almost say: ‘I adore you’ has arrived in the golden era of techno. The remix shows Double Triangle in top form, with good progression that keeps up the tension and simultaneously proves that, together with Carlos Ucedda, they can also capture the 90s flair magnificently and present it in the style of the 2000s. Great Remix of a fantastic Song by the end of the year!

"Wer bin ich¿" zeigt eine tiefe Identitätskrise und Sinnsuche des Menschen. Dichtboi symbolisiert den verzweifelten Versuch, der Realität durch Illusionen zu entfliehen. Der Text erinnert daran, dass wahrer Mut darin besteht, sich den Herausforderungen des Lebens zu stellen und Erfüllung innerhalb der realen Grenzen zu suchen, oder es wird zur Flucht in eine andere Welt, die leider oft nur einen Ausweg kennt. Und so bleibt am Ende der Beginn einer neuen Ebene der Existenz. Nachdenkliches von Dichtboi zum Jahresende.

Jean-Philippe Ruelle picks up on this theme and stages it in ‘Impulsein’. While the first part is still characterised by this positive hectic pace, the second part plunges us into a continuation dominated by passion. In his work, post-punk merges with electronic textures and guitars, drawing the listener into the dark alleys of existence; it is a descent into the catacombs of the underground, into the realm of longing and the unknown. Eutanásia (aka Pedro Werner) is the name of the artist who has just released his debut album of the same name. The lead single, ‘Doce Demais’ (feat. Two Internet Ghosts), is just a small excerpt from it and shows just one nuance of the multi-layered album. Not just for genre fans!
