‘Garden of Letters’ by Carlos Ucedda

‘Garden of Letters’ by  Carlos Ucedda Carlos Ucedda, who has been very active this year, also ends the year with one last great release. As always, the keyword is art-pop, and this year he has given it an enormously colourful variety, combining it with avant-garde pop or a touch of post-punk and dark wave.  ‘Garden of Letters’, the new release, follows the path of 80s dream/synth pop and provides a wonderful musical framework for the lyrics. The lyrics thematise the duality of love and loss. The song shows how love can be a source of joy and inspiration as well as pain and longing. The preservation and remembrance of past feelings indicate an attempt to preserve the emotional value and meaning of past relationships. The capriciousness of love, the failure of romantic promises, and the search for meaning and comfort in memories of past affection.   The listener is invited to reflect on the transience and emotional complexity of human relationships. Ralf Dee - "Candy box"

The EP "Candy Box" is the first official release of the online collaboration between Ralf Dee andLars Oeschey (who also releases various projects under the pseudonym -zardoz-), which originated in 2020. Ralf Dee is a solo-artist from Germany with an affinity for Blues and AmericanRoots Music. Lars Oeschey is a sound twiddler and guitarist with a preference for extreme Metalgenres. The combination of both "artist-worlds" sounds great, really "out of the box" and it's definitely worth to listening to.

Swanga Swang - "It's over"

The next track we discovered, is respectively was "It's over" from Swanga Swang, a singer and songwriter from Texas. The song combines the elements of Country with a touch of 50's harmonies. The right ingredients to sound great. I really enjoyed the listening and would call it a sweet little gem.

Clan Nordag - "Triade"

Clan Nordag was created in Paris in 2017. The group is composed of Hermine, Frank Nordag and Irène de France, all 3 authors/composers/performers. Influenced by Celtic-Nordic music (Faun, Cécile Corbel, Matmatah, ...) and modern music, their 3 universes are intertwined to give birth to an original and varied Neo-medieval music in electro-folk-rock style. And this exactly how it sounds. Their 1st album entitled "Triade" was released on May 1st 2021.

An early bird - "Holding onto Hope"

Self-taught multi-instrumentalist An Early Bird releases his new single „Holding onto Hope“, a genuine springtime folk pop song delivering a positive message with a compelling refrain you need to listen to when in need of relax moments and good vibes.

Scott & Maria - "Mother Calls"

And our last track is inspired by the power of majestic Scottish ancient land, stones and the message received by Maria during a profound encounter with the Calanais stone circle in The Western Isles of Scotland. This song calls us to remember ourselves, immersed in the land, and learn to listen again to the wisdom of the earth. Close your eyes and let the journey begin.
