AJ La Joya teleports you into a world of psychological thrill with the haunting "Hallucinate". His previous single garnered international press from Roadie Music, a headlining interview on BuzzMusic, and earned him the title of Hip-Hop Artist of the Month from The Further, das war in etwa die Beschreibung zu diesem Song, was bedeutet das? Tja, nostalgischer Synthsound im Stile der End-80er, vielleicht auch schon Anfang 90er kombiniert respektive gemixt mit frischen Summervibes der heutigen 20er. AJ erzählt dabei die Geschichte einer Liebe, die von Sehnsucht, Hoffnungslosigkeit und Naivität getrieben ist. Beeinflusst von Künstler wie Kendrick Lamar bis Tracy Chapman, oder Doja Cat bis Stevie Wonder treffen elektrifizierende Melodien auf emotive Raps und entfachen ein musikalisches Feuerwerk. Der Aufforderung, hervorgerufen durch den fast schon hypnotischen Rhythmus, mitzutanzen, kann man kaum widerstehen, die Beats verleiten einen einfach zu sehr. Man muss, kann gar nicht anders. So we have to say Achtung: AJ La Joya fantastic like a hallucination, but definitely real.
