"I am beautiful" soll uns daran erinnern, dass wir einzigartig sind. Der Einstieg gleicht fast schon einem Mantra, "I am beautiful" ertönt es, wird wiederholt beinahe zelebriert. Die Protagonistin Jade 10, kann stimmlich mehr als überzeugen und weiß wo ihre Stärken liegen, Tre Carn, Songwriter/Producer, versteht sein Handwerk, sprich weiß an welchen Knöpfen er drehen muss. Beide zusammen liefern etablierten Folk-Pop bester Qualität ab. Trotzdem ist es ein ernstes Thema in einer Welt voller Ideale wo wir stets vergleichen, katalogisieren, einordnen und meist die Person dahinter vergessen. Steht sie uns nicht zu Gesicht begegnen wir ihr ablehnend. Der Song fordert uns ein wenig auf darüber nachzudenken. "I am beautiful" by Jade 10 or the diversity of beauty.
