Nach ihrem gelungenen Debüt "Eating Cornbread in Quarantine" war ich wirklich auf den Nachfolger gespannt und dieser Nachfolger, sprich zweite Single, hat es in sich. "Omnipresent" das ist ein Feuerwerk, ein Spektakel musikalischer Art. Das ist ein 5 Uhr Tee wo The Kinks auf Blur treffen um einfach mal so los zu jammen.

Die Eröffnung ist perfekt gelungen, dröhnender Garage-Sound hallt aus den Boxen, unwiderstehlich und nahezu prägend für den Track, der Einsatz der Orgel katapultiert einen direkt in die Mid-Sechziger um dort kurz zu verweilen, faszinierend auch die Drums , welche den Song enorm pushen ohne diktieren zu wollen.

Ab dem Einsatz der Vocals ist man im Brit-Pop Himmel angekommen, die Stimme quasi omnipräsent, "creating history" gewissermaßen. Der neueste Track von I am the Unicorn head bietet von Genialität bis "Catchy as hell" alles was es braucht um außergewöhnlich zu klingen.
