"This is not what you promised us" by Bones in Butter

This is not what you promised us

Auf die Band "Bones in Butter" oder dessen Mastermind Milutin Krasevic der dahinter steckt, wurde ich vor einigen Wochen aufmerksam, "So Alone", die Vorgängersingle, machte mich neugierig mehr über diese Gruppe/Projekt zu erfahren. 
Der Vorbote war schon mal ein perfekter Einstieg diese "Band" zu entdecken, kennen zu lernen, und mit ihrer neusten Veröffentlichung "This is not what you  promised us" gehen sie diesen Weg konsequent weiter. War's bei "So Alone" noch das Thema "Niedergang und Bestrafung von einem Tyrannen", so konzentriert sich der neue Track jetzt mehr oder eigentlich ganz auf die Opferrolle, auf die Zeit nach der Tyrannei. 
Verpackt im Genre des Post-Punks liefern Bones in Butter perfekt eingängige Melodien, mein persönliches Highlight der Refrain wo mich vor allem die Kombination aus Leadvocals und Backingvocals begeistert, weiters auch die Drums die unermüdlich marschieren. Auch der Part der Gitarre wird exzellent in den Vordergrund gespielt und vermag immer wieder Glanzlichter zu setzen. 
Ein wenig an "The Stranglers" erinnernd macht sich dieser Song auf ein weiteres Glanzstück der Band zu werden. "This is not what you promised us" by Bones in Butter definitely a great new release by this amazing Artist.
