Please Insert Coin: ‘Games’ by The Octopus Division

‘Games’ by The Octopus Division If you love the 80s and don't know Matt Muncie (aka The Octopus Division), you've definitely missed something. But as it's never too late for good music, you can catch up on what you've missed anytime and almost anywhere.  The Octopus Division's latest work is called ‘Games’ and once again represents the decade of neon lights perfectly. The major sequences are classically chosen, and you'll be hooked from the start. Back in the world of arcade games, the song becomes an intense journey of self-discovery, describing personal growth. Timelessness and shared experiences emphasize the importance of interpersonal bonds. ‘Games’ creates a dreamy atmosphere that allows you to immerse yourself in another world and makes you think about the future - all because you pressed the start button.  The entire production clearly bears Matt's signature, with classic drums, synth arrangements, and above all, the usual concise vocal part, which...

Femme Fatale

"I wrote Femme Fatale to empower women, to give a voice and send a message that men should not underestimate us.", schickt sie voraus.
"Femme Fatale" by Cindy-Louise, an amazing song from an impressive artist or "a powerful message" turns into art.

Q&A

Cindy-Louise is a singer/ songwriter who is currently based in the Netherlands.
Cindy-Louise is...?

Cindy-Louise is a singer/ songwriter who is currently based in the Netherlands. She is originally from South Africa and he focus is mainly indie rock and pop music.
She is a very active person on her social media’s and loves to interact and entertain her community.

What is your creative process like?

I like to mostly sit by the piano and play on some notes, or watch scenes of movies for dramatic inspiration, but sometimes I’m also just cooking in the kitchen and inspiration hits and I run to the piano and grab my recording device and a note pad.

What's your most useful talent besides music?

I’m a total fashionista, I love to style clothing and express. I think the two talents are closely related because fashion is also a way of connecting and communicating to the world. I also have a number of socials where I introduce products/ trends and just getting ready for the day.

How would you describe 2021 in a sentence?

A year of growth

What was the first ever Pop/Rock/ etc. ... song you listened to or remember on?

I can always remember listening and singing to Celine Dion’s "I drove all night" and Dolly Parton’s "9 to 5" with my mom in the Car.

What do you prefer, a live gig or a studio sessions

I love doing both, in the studio you can really create and play with your voice, it’s like a painter working on a canvas, so many possibilities. Singing Live gigs you are able to connect with people on a personal level and really feed off their energy, it’s a rush.

Do you remember your first ever self-written song?

The first song I wrote was featured on my able and is called I can’t hear toy anymore. I think this is really when I started opening up and expressing how I felt, not holding back.

What’s next for you?

More live gigs, new music with a badass flair, collaborations with other artists and new ventures.
