"Viens" by divine&acajou

divine&acajou's experience first started through classical music as a violonist from age 5

divine&acajou

She/her. divine&acajou's experience first started through classical music as a violonist from age 5, then a professional singer in a choir. In 2020, she was featured in Etat Limite's album "L'Amour n'existera plus" and will dive into her own album project the same year.
French by blood, but American in her heart, she writes and composes in both english and french in an always-changing and original style, inspired by pop, slam, hip-hop, indie and classical music, using African and electronic beats among other.
She's inspired by French artists such as Berger, Sanson, Balavoine, Rita Mitsouko, as well as American and English artists such as Simon&Garfunkel, The Beatles, Eurythmics, Bronski Beat… and many others e.g. Lykke Li, Pow Wow, Stromae.



Viens

Unser nächster Song, an diesem Donnerstag, entführt uns nach Paris. "divine&acajou alternates between slam, chamber and indie pop", stand geschrieben, was natürlich sehr interessant klingt und für mich eine Aufforderung darstellt dieses Debüt bzw. diese Debütsingle anzuhören. "Viens" heißt das Werk der Künstlerin, die Veröffentlichung ist zwar schon etwas länger her, dies sollte bei einem Review aber nie eine Rolle spielen, zumindest ist das bei mir so. 
Sehnsucht, Frust und Hoffnung die es zu meistern gibt, in einer Welt voller Emotionen, in der man sich selbst treu bleiben soll respektive muss. Sich nicht mit weniger zufrieden geben als einem zusteht. So die Themen zum Track. Starke Thematik, starke Umsetzung. 
Die Instrumentierung eine großartige "Alternative Art Pop Mischung" die zu überraschen wie auch zu überzeugen weiß. Die kraftvollen Vocals, im grandiosen Zusammenspiel mit dem "Soundpaket", üben beinahe eine hypnotische Faszination aus. 
Die Instrumentierung selbst setzt gezielt Höhepunkte wann immer es von Nöten ist und inszeniert die Thematik mit Bravour. "Viens" by divine&acajou ein gelungener Einstand, welcher die Neugier auf neues Material entfacht.
