The Fear of Omnipresent Observation: ‘The Crawling Eye’ by The Silence Industry

‘The Crawling Eye’ by The Silence Industry On this very Friday, we whisk you away into the sublime yet shadow-laden realm of Goth Rock, where the heart of Post-Punk beats incessantly. The Silence Industry has recently set a benchmark with ‘The Crawling Eye’ that other artists will find difficult to surpass in the foreseeable future. Endowed with an impressive back catalog,  The Silence Industry approaches a topic of grave seriousness in their latest release. The track addresses omnipresent surveillance, shedding light on its profound implications as well as the personal apprehensions it evokes.   Musically, Graham Jackson creates a scene of distressing perfection, where elements of Death-Rock leave us breathless and the fear of omnipresent observation becomes palpable. Driven by a dark Post-Punk aura, Graham rises with a performance at the microphone that recalls memories of Jaz Coleman (Killing Joke). The artist not only succeeds in maintaining the tension for nearly seven minutes b

Boscaro is ...?

Boscaro is my last name. I tried to think about so many different artist names but i found my own was the best to wear considering that my songs are talking about my everyday and personal feelings.

Who inspired you to make music in general?

People, especially women, not in a way to seduce them but only to highlight the magic they're able to create around

Your latest release "Olivia" sounds "wonderful sad", who or what was your inspiration?

Olivia was the inspiration, there was something so natural and easy about her way to see life. Everything seemed so simple around her

What can we expect from your upcoming album?

This album will be called "Elles", just like a personal diary, every song is about a woman who made a particular impact in my life.

What's the hardest challenge concerning songwriting for you?

The hardest challenge is to record them !! Nowadays, people are expecting songs to be overproduced and perfectly recorded; for my music i don't like perfect recordings because every song tells a natural feeling, how could it be perfect ?

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

It's been years i'm helping artists to write their own songs so i already did many collaborations in a way. There's not a particular person i would like to collaborate with, it could be anyone as long as there are sincerity and heart in the process

What’s next for you?

Many things to come, starting by the first EP called "Elles". There's another full album which i'm currently mixing in order to release it in... October 2022 i think. Just after that there'll be a brand new era coming with a videoclip that will come in december
Many collaborations too with different artists i'm working for as a producer, writer, composer or videoclip director. But the immediate next thing for me is going to be a big sandwich !!
