Electro-Pop’s Poet of Pain: Me & Melancholy Releases ‘Tears In The Rain’

‘Tears In The Rain’  by  Me & Melancholy Whenever there’s a new release from Me & Melancholy , it fills us with anticipation. This time, the artist paints a compelling portrait of human vulnerability and the complexity of interpersonal relationships.  ‘Tears In The Rain’ succeeds in capturing the essence of ephemeral beauty and the pain of the inevitable, expressing it through music. The dynamics of estrangement, articulated in the lines ‘I’m not able to reach you ’ and ‘ the more I try, the further I push you away ’, reflect a tragic irony. It feels like a dance of approach and withdrawal, prompting listeners to contemplate the paradoxes that often occur in our most intimate relationships.  The artist’s signature melancholic tone conveys a plea for acceptance and an attempt to bridge the gap created by misunderstandings and hurt feelings. Musically, Peter Ehrling navigates familiar territory, once again leveraging it to his advantage by capturing the emotional depth.   ‘Tears

Told from the perspective of a vice: "Don't wanna be known" by Lilith Noble

Who is the "human" behind the artist Lilith Noble?

Well i’m a strong human to say the least. Through out my entire life i have been subject to abuse and abandonment i wont go to deep with that but it was brutal. There was neglect, heroin use, sexual, physical and psychological abuse, and then in adult hood i have been in abusive co dependant relationships.
And it has indeed left my with scars literal and figurative. I battle with addiction, depression and anxiety and have been in some very dark and life threatening situations as a result. But i am THE LILITH NOBLE i always bounce back. and im in the best place spiritually and mentally i have ever been and clean and sober for a few months now. Ive just been bust making music. But yeah strength, resilience and determination. Thats my best strengths. And id like to think my strengths and of course my weaknesses are what make up who i am as a human. haha

Do you remember the first artist who impressed you?

Well my favourite artists as a child were. Like green day, nirvana, slipknot, eminem and so many others but i think the first artist that ever really impressed me to a life changing degree. That i was like omg you can make music like THAT !!! and that artist was marilyn manson for sure. And i know the controversy. But the man is a genius

What's the story behind your latest release "Don't wanna be known"?

This is a song is told from the perspective of a vice or addiction to the addict. and how it doesn't want to hurt them anymore.. i wrote this in rehab where in. i was being treated for alcoholism after a failed suicide attempt. But i got through it and was in and out in two weeks. and i’ve been clean ever since. and my life has improved greatly.
And im motivated to work hard on achieving my goals. And its more rewarding that any drugs or booze will every be. i really hope yall enjoy it. And give it a listen, save the track, add it too your playlists. And of course check out my other music. And social media

What was/is in your opinion the last "Turning point" in music history?

You mean before the current one that i am a part of. Well probably. And this is just my opinion i want to say the rise of dubstep. But instead im gonna say just the last 5-10 years. Where people have access to so much resources and opportunity for exposure and promotion on the internet and social media.
Like tiktok, intagram, twitter etc and thats most likely the way it will continue into the future. Which is wonderful because other than myself of course there are so many great artists out there. Shout out Carolesdaughter shoutout the runa de luna

Social media ... heaven or hell or both of it?

Well as i said in my last answer. I think it is an incredibly useful tool for artists and businesses and there are all sorts of platforms for talented people to showcase their skills. whatever thay may be. Its a great time to be alive dawg

Your first ever self written song was about ...?

The first song i wrote was called “bouquet of barbed wire. And it is about a husband and wife in a quiet suburban street. Life is peach until. The husband murders the wife in cold blood. And proceeds to bury her in the backyard under the cover of the night.and sleeps like a baby. He wakes up in the moring. things seem normal. He skips breakfast because there is no food in the house. So feeling no guilt at all he whistles a perky tune until…… a bird shits right on his sholder.
Then his car breaks down, he loses his job. And finally he gets home puts on a movie to relax after a frankly terrible. But littles does he know just mere feet away his deceased wife who has risen from the dead and has already made her way out of the ground and into the house. She inches toward him. Then shapely whips a length of barbed wire from behind her back. And strangles her dear homicidal husband then crawls giddy in the heat of revenge. Back to her grave. Bouquet of barbed wire in hand
