NAYAD
Lofi indie pop band
NAYAD released their second EP "FAR AWAY FROM REASON", on the anniversary of their debut EP "
Neon Bedroom", which received huge media attention and collected over a million listens in total, on Spotify alone. With
strong choruses drenched in cassette tape warmth and a lofi shimmer over dirty pianos, NAYAD is ready to take the listener on a tête-á-tête
somewhere between Big Thief, King Crimson and Weyes Blood.
"We've taken a more acoustic and somehow more honest turn with "Far Away from Reason". Having never thought about more than one song at a time, we started from a specific feeling and built the EP from there,” says Pernilla, who sings in the duo.
"We started from the feeling of total safety, the kind that you were sometimes lucky enough to experience in childhood. As the years go by, you realise it's getting harder and harder to find your way back to that specific space. I don't know, it just makes me sad”, says Erik.
