Behind the Hedges: ‘Life in the Burbs’ by The Dream Chasers

‘Life in the Burbs’ by The Dream Chasers With ‘Life in the Burbs,’ Bridgette and Peter (aka The Dream Chasers) unfold the full range of their artistic creation. They take us on a journey through the suburbs, which includes not only the visible hedges and houses but also the hidden longings and dreams of their inhabitants. With a mix of melancholic reflection and life-affirming euphoria, they paint a multi-layered portrait. The musical accompaniment is as diverse as the emotions of the residents. From indie pop melodies that capture the quiet of a Sunday morning to powerful indie rock chords that reveal the hidden wildness behind the manicured facades, The Dream Chasers offer a soundtrack that both soothes and challenges the listener. The catchy riff in ‘Life in the Burbs’ acts as a musical guide that immediately captivates the listeners and takes them on an acoustic journey through the complex emotions of suburban life. It is the artistry with which this riff captures the essence

Hungry, The Fades, Baby Schillaci and Denmark Showcase Their Diverse and Explosive Sounds in Their Latest Release!

From Punk Rock to Grunge

"The Jig" by Hungry

Meet Hungry, the buzzsaw punk band that started in school uniforms and ended up rocking the nation. Their new single, “THE JIG”, is a scorching slam on the crooked and snooty establishment that screws the nation over. The band combines political smarts and heart with catchy hooks and riffs that make you want to party hard or mosh harder.
HUNGRY is one of the hottest raw talents to emerge from any city in ages, with their fresh and rebellious sound that kicks the status quo in the teeth. They serve up “THE JIG” as a high-speed thrill ride that lasts less than three minutes, but packs a punch.

"Off the Record" by The Fades

The band marks their summer and winter tour with this stunning single, the first of three new releases this year that showcase their musical talent and diversity. This song unleashes a fiery and exhilarating garage rock sound that will make you want to jump and scream.
The guitar riffs are massive, the drums are thunderous and the vocals are catchy and defiant: “I don’t feel comfortable with my voice on the record”… Don’t take that as a sign of weakness! It’s a masterful fusion of early Nirvana’s grunge, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster’s psychobilly, some Faith No More’s funk metal and the punk rock spirit of Idles.

"Dead Wrestlers" by Baby Schillaci

A Welsh post-punk 4-piece emerged in 2022. They mix noise and punk in the vibrant South Wales scene. Their lyrics hit hard with themes of mortality, fame and tragedy. ‘Dead Wrestlers’ is a hot and original track that will get you moving.
The somber and sinister vibe starts with a bold response to Baz Luhrmann’s “Everybody’s Free”, rejecting the idea that we can all follow our passions. Schillaci’s words expose the realistic truth that sometimes life has other surprises.

"call you / magazine" by Denmark

This band is a sonic explosion of grunge, funk, and pop rock that will blow your mind and rock your world with their electrifying shows and relentless devotion to their craft. The trio of musical rebels - Ben Denmark, Frankie Fowlkes, and David Reichberg - are bursting with joy and anticipation as they unleash their new release, which sounds like a firework display from the speakers.
“call you (when i can)” is a nostalgic nod to the early 2000s post-punk revival, with its groovy rhythms and catchy hooks that bring back the garage rock spirit. “magazine,” on the flip side, is a reflection of the frenzied energy of the Big Apple - wild, chaotic, but also melodic and rhythmic. It is an emotional roller coaster that fuses the raw power of their grunge DNA with the addictive charm of pop rock.
