“Wreckage”: Emily Nicole Green’s new song about the pain and rage of unrequited love
“Wreckage” by Emily Nicole Green
Emily Nicole Green, one of the most promising talents in Americana, is back with a bang. Her new track, “Wreckage”, drops today, and it’s a fiery fusion of jazz and blues with pop and Americana. She sings about the agony and fury of unrequited love, with lyrics that cut deep and a voice that burns bright.
The music is a whirlwind of sound, featuring a jazz drum kit, electric bass, and piano by Greg Neel, a haunting cello by Erica Ransbottom, and a punchy upright bass by Barry Bales. The track was produced by Green herself, arranged by Mike Williamson, recorded and mixed by Ryan Wilson at HeyHey Studios in Griffin, GA, and mastered by Alex Sterling at Precision Sound Studios in NYC.
“Wreckage” is the second single from Green’s upcoming EP, Outrunning The Animal, which is expected to drop in October this year. The EP will showcase Green’s versatile and expressive musical style, as she explores different genres and emotions.
Don’t miss this chance to hear one of the most exciting new voices in the indie music scene, whose songs are full of emotion, energy, and originality.
