Please Insert Coin: ‘Games’ by The Octopus Division

‘Games’ by The Octopus Division If you love the 80s and don't know Matt Muncie (aka The Octopus Division), you've definitely missed something. But as it's never too late for good music, you can catch up on what you've missed anytime and almost anywhere.  The Octopus Division's latest work is called ‘Games’ and once again represents the decade of neon lights perfectly. The major sequences are classically chosen, and you'll be hooked from the start. Back in the world of arcade games, the song becomes an intense journey of self-discovery, describing personal growth. Sword (EP) by pMad

Sword (EP) by pMad

pMad, a solo artist and multi-instrumentalist from Ireland who produces alternative rock and post-punk music, has revealed a new EP titled Sword. The EP comprises four songs that exhibit pMad’s dark and edgy style, influenced by bands such as Killing Joke, The Cure, or The Sisters of Mercy.
The introductory song, “Sword”, is a goth rock anthem with heavy guitars, pounding drums, and pMad’s deep and haunting vocals. The mesmerizing chorus will linger in your mind for days.
The subsequent track, “Down”, is sorrowful and touching and addresses depression and suicide. It features pMad’s deep vocals, a minimalist guitar riff, and a pulsating drum beat that create a deep as well as dark atmosphere.
“Fire” is an amazing gothic track with heavy guitars and pounding drums. The song conveys a powerful message about the environmental crisis and the greed of the powerful, as pMad sings “Our planet is on ‘Fire’, do we have the time and the will to save it?”
The concluding song, “Fury”, goes more into hard rock with distorted guitars, aggressive drums and raspy vocals. The song expresses pMad’s anger and frustration with the world. "Sword" is an exceptional and impressive EP that demonstrates pMad’s talent and versatility as a musician. It is a splendid listen for fans of alternative rock and post-punk music.
