"Brujeria" by  blxckflamingo  As soon as I read about new darkwave projects, I just have to listen to them, and I'm usually not disappointed.  This is also the case with blxckflamingo from New Jersey, who have released a 3-track EP called "Attic Tracks", on which "Brujeria" stands out once again.  The song is a dark, poetic reflection on passion, devotion, and the destructive aspects of desire and pain.  A mystical, almost occult atmosphere is created with pictorial descriptions such as "witches’ ball" and "mystical rain" , which keeps you caught between attraction and self-destruction. blxckflamingo succeeds with "Brujeria" in creating a powerful expression of inner chaos and longing.  Musically, you can look forward to excellent cold darkwave that indulges in a post-punk renaissance. Break Free from the Infinite Loop: “another sad song” by jupiter flynn

“another sad song” by jupiter flynn

Following the remarkable “monsters and men”, it appears almost unjust to demand more from jupiter flynn, but with “another sad song” the artist produces a work that nearly surpasses the predecessor. She addresses a phenomenon that has afflicted each of us at some point: the forgetting of experiences. Bad experiences are ones that one would prefer to expunge from the memory, but one should nevertheless learn from them. 
When the error recurs, the situation evokes the past, and one swiftly conceives the notion of being ensnared in an infinite loop. With self-irony, jupiter flynn sings “Don’t make me write another sad song” and urges us to pursue different paths, to deviate occasionally. 
We will heed that, but only after we have savoured the new song by jupiter flynn sufficiently! Even if it resonates typically of jupiter, “Don’t make me write another sad song” has astonished us very favourably again!
