‘The Journey’ - The Octopus Division

‘The Journey’ - The Octopus Division In ‘The Journey,’ a sonic mosaic unfolds that—permeated by neon-soaked synth pads and a melody that feels like memory—is less a song than a spiritual compass. The time that relentlessly pursues us, according to ‘Time keeps chasing us every day’, is not portrayed as an enemy, but as a constant touchstone that we face with our heads held high: ‘ We won't let the rain wash us away’ . Photography, here metaphorically as a key to the past, opens doors to moments that seem long gone but live on within us. The chorus – a kind of collective mantra – describes not just a journey, but an intertwining of stories that support each other. The garden in which hopes take root becomes a symbol of what must be nurtured in order to flourish. And when ‘ our songs have lost a note or two ’, it is not a flaw, but proof of lived depth. A song that is not meant to be heard, but to be lived through – like a familiar glance at an old photo album by candlelight. b...

Kick Back and Enjoy: “Rise Again” by Bandulu, Anaves Music

“Rise Again” by Bandulu, Anaves Music

When you hit “play”, you can tell right away where in Austria the sound is coming from. Anaves Music is back with a fresh release on the market, and the first beats of “Rise Again” show that the label boss himself is in on it - or has to be. Because who else could make such a dope trap-reggae track that came from Austria and meets the highest quality standards? The answer is clear: Anaves Music or Sabolious are the masterminds behind this work.
But let’s take it one step at a time: “Rise Again” is a trap-inspired reggae track that is the first collab between Bandulu and Anaves Music. The song is a hype anthem that tells you to get up and fight, no matter what goes down
Bandulu kills it with his singjay style and vibes perfectly with Sabolious, who is not only in charge of the “Rise Again Riddim” track, but also of the whole production. The outcome is a track of international caliber that can stand up to any competition.
And the best is yet to come: “Rise Again” is just one of the teasers for the upcoming “Bass Jam” compilation album, which might bring even more skanky and chill vibes like this one (cross the fingers, lads). So kick back and enjoy the sound until the next single makes you jump out of your seat.
