Discover the beauty of everyday moments with Flora Falls' “Everyday Love”

“Everyday Love” by Flora Falls Today, we’re spinning Flora Falls’ latest release, “Everyday Love,” on our virtual turntable. It’s been a while since they last put out new music, but they’re back, filling the air with their delightful melodies.  This track celebrates the beauty and significance of everyday love - the little, unremarkable moments and habits that truly make a relationship special.  When you reach that stage, you feel a sense of security and comfort, realising that true love isn’t about grand, dramatic gestures but the small, everyday moments that enrich our lives and relationships.  That’s the essence of “Everyday Love,” which they illustrate with charming examples and perhaps a few anecdotes.   Musically, this release leans towards folk with a touch of pop, perfectly complementing the theme and allowing the harmonies to shine. The duo’s vocal performances blend seamlessly, giving the song a timeless intensity . The chorus is catchy and memorable, and the varied arrange

Enveloped in the Echoes of a Sonata: ‘Isla Paraiso’ by Carlos Ucedda

 ‘Isla Paraiso’ by Carlos Ucedda

The opening notes reveal an innocent yet melancholic timbre, capable of transporting the listener into a profound ocean of emotion. Hope and humility intertwine closely, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone sonata. The introduction to Carlos Ucedda’s new single, ‘Isla Paraiso’, is marked by the artist’s signature style, while simultaneously creating an immediate sense of suspense and captivating the listener.

The composition is not merely the outcome of a creative process; it is also the consequence of a production imbued with inspiration from the artist's muse. Visions are realised through an exploration of emotions that, supported by music, experience immense depth. ‘Isla Paraiso’ fits seamlessly into the artist’s concept, giving the notion of structure not only a linguistic but also a musical meaning. Dynamics, balance, and rhythm are employed as instruments, with the emphasis on the overall impression.
Carlos Ucedda leaves nothing to chance, playing with different ideas that he realises across various genres. He extracts the best from each idea, creating a piece that takes on a life of its own while listening, leaving the listener in awe. The liveliness of the song, undoubtedly a result of the artist’s passion, strives to break away from conventions but also needs them to preserve its musical beauty. The decision to perform the song in the native language is a very successful one, as it allows the high level of temperament and passion expressed in the music to be conveyed in the language.
‘Isla Paraiso’ takes us into the musical seraglio of Carlos Ucedda, who once again manages to surprise us. And thus, once more, the curtain falls, and we rise to our feet in appreciation.

Q&A

Proud to have you back on NenesButler with your new release "Isla Paraiso", what is the story behind the song and who was your inspiration?

Thanks . Well the beginning of this project started with another peculiarity. But I had been thinking for a long time to create a song in my native language, since normally in my creations I sing in different languages.
It talks about the summer pastime... fun (Sea, Sun, Party, Friends and good company for whatever one, or, all of us want) That's where it came from, and this is the essence reflected in ISLA PARAISO

The new single sounds exceptional, as it often does, what came first to your mind, the lyrics or the melody or both at the same time?

Thank you very much 🙏🏻 The lyrics, due to circumstances.

Would you say that singing in your native language expresses more emotion than in English?

No, not for me. It's about feelings.

You are very open to different genres, are you generally a very open person or is there some musical subject in which you are very strict?

In general I tend to be very strict, my roots come from classical and Baroque studies. But as I mentioned in previous interviews, I feel totally open to versatility in all its references.

Your music always has a lot of dramaturgy, would you like to write a musical one day and if so, what would be the first story that comes to mind?

These are big words, but if so, would it be something similar or in the atmosphere of the musical (The Rocky Horror Picture Show)

And finally, as always, what projects are you working on for the fall?

Right now I am working on two projects. One is almost finished, and I am shaping the second one to start working on it. I am also very happy about the release on August 20th of my first album  MYSTIQUE  available at mystique@carlosucedda.com
A hug! I really appreciate the interview. Thanks 🙏🏻
