‘Kissing Away The Silence’ by LUNER

A song about a relationship characterized by uncertainty, intense feelings, and the search for comfort. The two find themselves in a kind of emotional limbo where they don’t want to commit but also can’t let go of each other. Beautifully staged in a singer-songwriter style with lots of emotion, piano, strings, etc. A song to lean back and enjoy: ‘Kissing Away The Silence’ by LUNER. ‘in da mittn’ von GRAHMS 

Um die lyrischen Kompositionen der Grazer Band GRAHMS voll und ganz zu erfassen, sind Kenntnisse des steirischen Dialekts von großem Vorteil. Ihr neuestes Werk “in da mittn” ist laut der Band ein semisatirischer Beitrag zur Auseinandersetzung mit Individualismus und Egozentrik. 

Jedes Mal, wenn ich ihre Musik höre, fühle ich eine kurze, aber intensive Verbindung zum Grazer Hauptplatz. Dort hatte ich während meiner Schulzeit das Vergnügen, eine Vielzahl von Menschen zu beobachten (ihre "Spielwiese" waren bevorzugt die Würstelbuden). Leider blieb mir damals aufgrund der kurzen Zeit keine Gelegenheit, tiefere Geschichten zu spinnen, da das Läuten der “Bim” jeden gedanklichen Ausflug abrupt beendete. 

Diese Beobachtungen haben nun GRAHMS für mich übernommen und erzählen die eine oder andere Geschichte weiter oder wie sie hätte sein können. Einfach wunderbar!
