Oghamyst’s Triple Treat: A Journey Through Electro, Love, and Personal Growth

A Journey Through Electro, Love, and Personal Growth

Today, we’re showcasing an artist who not only impresses as a soloist but also stands out through his numerous collaborations with other artists. Some of you might have already guessed his name: Oghamyst. A true genre-wanderer, he refuses to be confined by any musical style.
The first release of the day is “Corri (Never Give Up)”, a collaboration with Cecilia Barale. This masterful fusion of Electro and DnB inspires resilience in the face of adversity. The song depicts stormy challenges and conveys hope for overcoming them. It encourages perseverance, listening to one’s inner voice, and seizing opportunities. Overall, the song reminds us to trust ourselves and pursue our dreams. “Corri (Never Give Up)” offers a top-quality Electro-Dance vibe.

The next piece takes us into the depths of a romantic relationship, telling the story of an intense and passionate encounter between two people. This encounter revitalises them, making them feel young and carefree, as if they were twenty again. However, despite the strong attraction and beautiful moments, reality catches up with them. Both are already in other relationships, leading to feelings of guilt and confusion. In the end, they realise that their encounter was not meant to be. “EXTAZY éternelle” by Oghamyst and MO captures the highs and lows of a passionate but complicated love affair, describing the euphoria and conflicts that come with it. Musically, it is excellently staged, transporting the listener to southern climes and making them forget the everyday.
The third release, another collaboration by and with Oghamyst, is titled “Happier (Stripped Down Version)” and was created in cooperation with atheunnm. The song reflects the importance of self-liberation and personal growth after the end of a difficult relationship. One realises that the other person was the main problem and feels happier and freer without them. This realisation leads to a deep sense of peace and contentment. The lyrics emphasise the importance of recognising and ending toxic relationships to find personal happiness and inner peace. The song’s poppy vibe, catchy bassline, and smooth progression, combined with the vocals, create an inspiring piece with a touch of innocence.
Three collaborations that couldn’t be more different, showcasing Oghamyst’s impressive range. If I had to choose one of the three songs, it would probably be “Happier”, even though the decision is very close. The song has that certain something that, in my personal view, catapults it to the top spot.
