Dive into the Eclectic World of ‘MYSTIQUE (Album)’ by Carlos Ucedda

MYSTIQUE” by Carlos Ucedda

Releasing an album these days is quite a remarkable feat. With “MYSTIQUE,” Carlos Ucedda presents a sort of greatest hits collection, offering an overview of his work to date. A total of 13 exceptional musical compositions are available from an exclusive repertoire, available exclusively on Bandcamp in album format.
The album kicks off with an electro-underground banger set in the 1980s called “At the Bottom.” In the following track, “Under Your Iris,” the artist showcases a contrasting facet of his musical spectrum by delving into contemporary electro-pop, revealing a gentler side of himself. The track “Animal Sauna” evokes associations with Depeche Mode and proves to be highly danceable. “Secret Relief” combines elements of art pop with electronic sounds, while the roots in electronic music remain ever-present. Attention: Great video!
“Window To The Soul” offers modern synth-pop, while “Thinking About My Love” brings playful nostalgia. “Applause” features harmonies embedded in a slightly melancholic soundscape, where Carlos also shines. Electro beats and synth sounds are the ingredients of “Imperfect,” transporting us back to a decade where underground also exuded elegance. With “Exit,” we take a moment to rest and regain the energy lost in the previous track, enveloped in a grand mystical atmosphere. The well-known “I Adore You” offers dreamy synth-pop, and “Nerfikon Star” delivers slightly trance-like art pop. “Flowed In My Mind” impresses with its sophisticated pop vibe and can also be considered one of the many highlights.
And so the circle closes: With “Short Time My Love,” Carlos Ucedda bids farewell, leaving us with an album that not only reflects his musical journey but also touches the hearts of his listeners, transporting them to a world full of emotions and soundscapes.
