'Nouveau jour' by Les Passagers

With ‘Nouveau jour,’ Les Passagers from Montréal deliver another highlight from their latest EP/mini-album 'Tu n'es pas seul'. The entire EP describes the journey through the adversities of existence and the resulting new beginning, with ‘Nouveau jour’ representing one stop on this journey.
The slightly psychedelic song exudes the charm of the 70s and lets the listener oscillate between pop and jazz. A wonderfully delicate piece that radiates a certain lightness on one hand and is interpreted in a very sophisticated way on the other. ‘Nouveau jour’ by Les Passagers shows how multi-faceted pop can be interpreted and that it is worth listening to the whole work.

'Forbidden Kind of Love (ft. Angie Gooden)' by The MasterBlaster

With 'Forbidden Kind of Love,' The MasterBlaster once again opens the doors to the 80s and lets us immerse ourselves in his musical living room, where the lamp gives way to the disco ball and the funky flair flies groovily around our ears.
Together with Angie Gooden, he ventures onto the dance floor and takes a successful leap in the direction of disco meets funk. Sparkling like a fizzy drink and a little lascivious, 'Forbidden Kind of Love' unfolds its effect and shows The MasterBlaster fully in his element!

'AREA CODE' by ARPRAXIS

The beats per minute increase and the nostalgic flair that hovers over the track is constantly pushed to its limits. You are practically involved in a chase that accelerates at breakneck speed. With 'AREA CODE' ARPRAXIS is, as always, in the fast lane and pushing the boundaries.
No limit - full fun" seems to be the motto. Unbridled energy that cannot be tamed, in the form of notes, drives the listener forward. ARPRAXIS is the driver, 'AREA CODE' the vehicle. Another great surprise from ARPRAXIS.

"Zu Hause" by TEYNA

"Vagabond" by Riverwoods

A song that speaks to the nomadic spirit within us, reminding us that we are all travellers on the road of life. Despite the challenges and obstacles, 'Vagabond' encourages us to embrace the journey and find strength in our vagabond identity.
It's all about resistance and perseverance, expressing the deep emotional pain that can be experienced, but also emphasising the importance of moving forward and leaving the past behind. Musically, the sound design is good and varied, and the vocals, which have a bit of Nordic and Celtic flair, are completely convincing.

"Moonlight Slide (ft. Mia G)" by ARPRAXIS

ARPRAXIS brings Mia G on board and slides towards the 90s, stopping there to embrace everything that made a great house track back then. The result - an elegant percussion line meets the piano, which is subordinate to the drums and contributes significantly to the rhythm.
The vocals are the icing on the cake and complete the track, along with many small but great gimmicks typical of the era. This track inspires and grooves incredibly. Add 'Moonlight Slide (ft. Mia G)' by ARPRAXIS to your playlist!

"Crying Sun" by T!ANA

In the piece "Crying Sun," T!ANA thematizes the inner conflict of a lost soul trapped in its struggle for healing. The coldness of the outside world stands in tense contrast to the burning desire for liberation. By describing the confrontation with one's own demons and the subsequent detachment from them, "Crying Sun" illustrates the process of healing.
The atmospheric alternative electro sound creates the right setting, with T!ANA occasionally appearing on the surface, but mostly slumbering deep underground. The vocals march succinctly with the rhythm that hammers relentlessly, without mercy and without remorse. "Crying Sun" by T!ANA will delight many ears.
