“Casualty” by Straight Razor

“Casualty” by  Straight Razor Omar Doom, born Omar Makhdomi, is a musician and actor. After graduating from the Parsons School of Design, he moved to Los Angeles, where he formed a fateful friendship with Quentin Tarantino. Recognising Omar’s potential, Tarantino cast him in the films “Death Proof” and “Inglourious Basterds” . Despite his success in film, music has always remained his true passion. In one of his latest works, “Casualty”, released under the name Straight Razors, Omar Doom explores the darker aspects of life. The song describes how people learn to conform to the unspoken rules and expectations of society over time. In doing so, they often lose a part of their individuality and freedom, becoming “casualties” of societal norms and pressures. “Casualty” addresses the challenge of staying authentic while bending to external influences.
