As the year draws to a close, we would like to present a few highlights, one of which is certainly the album ‘Dreaming of Daniel’ by Jerry Fish feat. MayKay, which is intended to commemorate the great Daniel Johnston (‘Hi, How Are You‘ is considered his most successful album and a classic of the American indie scene). The spirit of Daniel continues to live on and culminates in an album with 13 songs. ‘Ain't No Woman Gonna Make a George Jones Outta Me’ is just one of the songs that make this tribute album a gem. Recommended tracks include ‘The Sun Shines Down on Me,’ ‘It's Impossible,’ and ‘Living Life.’ To round off 2024, Jerry Fish feat. MayKay once again provide some fine alternative music.

#DanceNOW! Double Triangle, Carlos Ucedda - "I adore you (Double Triangle Remix)"

If the song sounds familiar to you now, we have already presented Carlos Ucedda and ‘I adore you’ once before; back then, the song was still very 80s (greetings to Luke Tangerine at this point). Together with Double Triangle, they take a step further into the 90s. You could almost say: ‘I adore you’ has arrived in the golden era of techno. The remix shows Double Triangle in top form, with good progression that keeps up the tension and simultaneously proves that, together with Carlos Ucedda, they can also capture the 90s flair magnificently and present it in the style of the 2000s. Great Remix of a fantastic Song by the end of the year!

"Wer bin ich¿" zeigt eine tiefe Identitätskrise und Sinnsuche des Menschen. Dichtboi symbolisiert den verzweifelten Versuch, der Realität durch Illusionen zu entfliehen. Der Text erinnert daran, dass wahrer Mut darin besteht, sich den Herausforderungen des Lebens zu stellen und Erfüllung innerhalb der realen Grenzen zu suchen, oder es wird zur Flucht in eine andere Welt, die leider oft nur einen Ausweg kennt. Who hasn't experienced the initial excitement of new love? Intense and pulsating. Everything is new, and there is so much to discover.
